  inlägg: 895 | Dear President, Dear Bridge Friend, FISU (International University Sport Federation) will organise the 3rd FISU World University Bridge Championships in Tianjin (China) from 21st to 27th October 2006. The WBF would like to invite your University teams (maximum two teams per country) to participate in these championships to make them a big success as they were in Brugge 2002 and Istanbul 2004. Participation in these Championships will help to create a network of bridge clubs at universities throughout the World and develop our favourite sport. To enter for these Championships, it is necessary to contact your National University Sport Federation (NUSF). Only your NUSF can enter a team for these FISU Championships by sending different official FISU-forms to the Organizing Committee in Tianjin in accordance with the deadlines specified in the first bulletin which is attached. All players have to be accredited by the NUSF. According to FISU-rules, the costs include the payment (in cash) upon arrival of: - US$20 per person as a registration fee for the Member Associations (NUSF) of FISU or US$40 per person for non Member Associations (NUSF) of FISU - US$60 per person and per day for participation fee (OC) These payments include all the participation fees, full board accommodation, as well as transportation from Beijing or Tianjin airport. The NUSF may have, as for all the other sports they manage like, for example, football, some particular conditions for sending a team to the FISU Championships. For instance it may be necessary to organize a National University Bridge Championship to select a participating team. This National University Bridge Championship may be an individual, pairs or teams tournament. It can be a single tournament or could be part of another existing tournament. This has to be agreed upon with your NUSF. It is possible to enter maximum 2 university teams of 6 players per country! It is recommended to enter as quickly as possible for these Championships as flying tickets become more expensive the closer to the start date of the Championships.
