Conventum Arena is fairly newly constructed and Bridgefestival 2008 was one of the first bigger arrangements in the Arena. The Arena is locacted in the center of Örebro, the adress is Fabriksgatan 28, 700 23 Örebro.

Four arcades, shopping districts, pedestrian precincts and the quaint “old town”. Not surprisingly, Örebro draws shoppers from far and wide. Marieberg, 9 km south of Örebro, is a large and vigorously expanding commercial centre with some 100 shops, restaurants and cafés.

Throughout the year, there are guided tours of the castle every Saturday and Sunday. During summertime, (June-August) there are several tours daily. Get your tickets at the castle shop and be taken back through centuries of the castle’s history. The tours are given in Swedish and English.

Cycling is a simple way of getting close to nature and Örebro with surroundings is made for cycling. In the city you find more then 200 km of cycle and pedestrian routes and several cycle trails around in the region. Free bike rental at the tourist centre, Town hall and central station.

Outdoor museum with handicraft stalls and cosy shops, museums, tourist information centre, café and exhibitions. Located next to one of Swedens most beautiful parks.

Playing golf in Örebro involves playing some of Sweden’s best courses. Just a few minutes from the city centre, Gustavsvik’s golf club has a 9 hole pay&play course.

For bathing are options for all types of weather. Several lakes around the city and the popular Gustavsvik´s waterworld in central Örebro. Here you also find a five-star camping site.

Alnängarna’s water park is an oasis of calm within walking distance of the city. The area offers paths for walks, sites for barbecues and much more. Amidst the greenery, you can take a break at the popular Naturens hus, a nature centre with a restaurant and café.
