Juniormästerskap ska arrangeras varje år, par och lag vartannat år.
Samtidigt ska det arrangeras ett juniorläger som ska vara öppet för alla bridgespelande juniormedlemmar.

Plan för kommande juniormästerskap:
JNM Par kommer alltid att spelas i Sverige, här tillåts även spelare utanför Norden att delta. JNM Lag kommer att alternera mellan Norge och Danmark.

Allan Livgard, NBU:S juniorrepresentant har utarbetat ett regelverk för mästerskap och läger efter konsultation från junioransvariga i Danmark och Sverige.

Reglerna är skrivna på engelska för att kunna läsas av samtliga länder.

Rules and regulations for Junior Teams Championships
General:

1. The Nordic Bridge Junior Teams Championship takes place biannually, in odd numbered years under the auspices of the NBU.
   
2. The Championship comprises three series: U25, U20 and Girls. Only one team from each country can compete for the NBU Junior Trophy, which team that competes is up to the National Bridge Organisation (NBO) to decide.
   
3. The event rotates between the NBU countries (NBO).
   
4. Each NBO can send one team in each class, but with a bye the host country may include another team. Such a team is placed in the ranking, but does not count in the NBU Junior Trophy or for the medals.
   
5. The NBU Junior Trophy is won by the NBO with team that has the highest VPs in a separate standing involving only the teams that are playing for the NBU Junior Trophy.

Tournament rules:

1. The higher ranking team in each series after a round robin is the Nordic Team Champions. Each series must have at least five participating countries for the winner to be Nordic Champion and medals to be awarded.
   
2. A tie between two teams will be broken in accordance with the result of the match between those two teams. Where that match has resulted in a tie in VP’s, any difference in IMP’s will decide. Where there is no difference in IMP’s scored, the tie will be broken by total points scored in that match. If there should still be a tie, then the IMP quotient of all matches will be taken into consideration to break the tie.
   
3. The deals are pre-dealt by computer.
   
4. Each NBO issues masterpoints to their players according to their national masterpoint regulations.
   
5. English is the official language of the tournament and whenever a player has looked at his hand, all players are expected to converse in this language only.
   
6. Screens are used at all tables.
   
7. Standard WBF procedures concerning screens, alerting and law alterations due to the use of screens apply.
   
8. North-South at each table is responsible for reporting the board result electronically after each board is completed. When North-South has typed in the result, East-West accepts/corrects this.
   
9. North-South at each table is responsible for delivering the official score sheet to the TD, signed by one opponent after the match.
   
10. Other tournament rules may be decided by the Tournament Committee at the Captains meeting.

Rules and regulations for Junior Pairs Championship
General:

1. The Nordic Junior Pairs Championship takes place biannually, in even numbered years under the auspices of the NBU.
   
2. The Championship comprises three series: U25, U20 and Girls.

4. Each NBO can send as many pairs as they like in each class.

Tournament rules:

1. The higher ranking pair in each series are Nordic Pairs Champions. Each series must have at least 20 participating pairs for the winner to be Nordic Champion and medals to be awarded.
   
2. If possible the tournaments are to be played “all against all”, but if there are too many pairs for that to happen, swiss-movement is allowed. The number of boards should be at least 100, and that means that the tournament should last two days.
   
3. If one or more series comprises too few pairs to be awarded medals, pairs in this class can compete for medals in another class, but they must meet age- and gender regulations. If a pair is eligible for two classes they must decide before the tournament which class they are playing in.
   
4. The deals are pre-dealt by computer.

Junior camps
I samband med lag- och parmästerskapen ska det även arrangeras
ett juniorläger på samma plats som mästerskapet äger rum.

När det arrangeras lagmästerskap går denna turnering över så många dagar att det inte finns tid för ett efterföljande läger. Därmed bör lägret påbörjas samtidigt som mästerskapen och hålla på en eller två dagar efter mästerskapens slut för att även mästerskapsspelarna ska kunna vara med.

När det arrangeras parmästerskap går denna turnering över två dagar varför lägret kan påbörjas efter mästerskapets slut. Ett typiskt exempel är att mästerskapet spelas lördag-söndag och lägret inleds måndag morgon för att avslutas på fredagen.

Lägren ska läggas upp för att passa alla typer av spelare, det bör vara lektioner inom många olika områden och aktiviteter som passar alla kunskapsnivåer.

Rules and regulations for the Nordic Junior Camp
Rules for staff:

1. The camp is run by a Camp Director, appointed by NBU or the NBO that arranges the camp. All other staff will be appointed by the Camp Director.
   
2. Staff must report all incidents to the Camp Director, who will decide which action to take next.
   
3. Staff is responsible for all aspects of the event to which they are assigned.
   
4. The Camp Director or his designee must give permission to and keep a list of any camper who leaves the venue.

Rules for campers:

1. Participation in the Camp is by invitation only. Juniors wishing to participate should apply through their NBO.
   
2. Campers must be juniors. Under no circumstances may non-Juniors be admitted.
   
3. All campers should pay the camp tuition on arrival, no discounts are allowed.
   
4. Campers must immediately and unquestionable follow the instructions of the staff. Failure to do so will have consequences from warning to expulsion.
   
5. No drugs are allowed.
   
6. No gambling or betting is allowed.
   
7. Smoking is allowed only outside in designated areas.
   
8. No drinking is allowed during the Camp.
   
9. Juniors will not be allowed to leave the area without permission from the staff.
   
10. Campers are required to follow the camp program and attend all activities.
    
11. Campers are liable for any damage they may cause.
    
12. Every partner must play only once with another camper, and if possible they should play campers of a different nationality.
